Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Insta to YouTube Shorts browser extension (“the extension”). By installing or using the extension, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the extension.

1. What the extension does

The extension helps you capture public Instagram Reels and upload them to a YouTube channel you control, as Shorts. It runs in your browser and acts on your behalf using accounts you connect.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be old enough to hold the Google and Instagram accounts you use and to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for your accounts and for keeping their credentials secure. Sign-in is handled by Google and Instagram directly; we never receive your passwords.

3. Acceptable use

You agree that you will:

• Only repost content that you own, manage, or have explicit permission to share.
• Comply with the terms, policies, and community guidelines of Instagram, YouTube, and Google, and with all applicable laws, including copyright and intellectual-property law.
• Not use the extension to infringe others' rights, or for any unlawful, deceptive, or abusive purpose.
• Not attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or circumvent the intended operation of the extension or the platforms it works with.

You are solely responsible for the content you upload and for ensuring you have the rights to repost it.

4. Third-party services and platforms

The extension relies on services and platforms operated by others — including Instagram/Meta, YouTube, Google, and the media service socialdownloader.in. We do not control these services. Their availability, behavior, or policy changes may affect or interrupt the extension's functionality at any time, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

5. Intellectual property and trademarks

Instagram, Reels, YouTube, Shorts, Google, and Meta are trademarks of their respective owners. The extension is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The extension is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that uploads will always succeed.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, accounts, content, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the extension.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the extension or your violation of these Terms or of any third party's rights.

9. Termination

You may stop using the extension and uninstall it at any time. We may update, suspend, or discontinue the extension at any time.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the extension after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
